2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition

Could lap the Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes and 18 seconds

Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer has already revealed the GT-R Nismo will have some "extra kick" and a new report is indicating it will offer more than 570 bhp (425 kW).
At the launch of the 370Z Nismo, a Nissan spokesperson told Top Gear the GT-R Nismo will be the "hardest GT-R ever" and offer improved handling as well as looks.
When pressed for detailed, the unnamed spokesperson reportedly confirmed the model will produce more than 570 bhp (425 kW). This is only 25 bhp (18 kW) more than the standard model but it will reportedly enable the GT-R Nismo to lap the Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes and 18 seconds.
The GT-R Nismo is expected to be launched in the second half of 2014, so stay tuned for details.
